A coach for the whole run of your show
A workshop solves one problem in a few weeks. A podcast raises a new one every month: the launch plan, then the first guests, then the editing that eats the weekend, then the question of why downloads have stopped moving, then whether to add video. Coaching is for that longer stretch.
Twice a month we sit down together on Zoom and work on whatever your show needs next. You set the agenda. We bring what we have learned from launching, producing and growing shows for clients and for ourselves. Between sessions, you write to us when something comes up and we answer. You stay the one doing the work, and that is the point: month by month you learn to run your show well, and you keep that skill when the coaching ends.
If you would rather have a piece of the work done for you, the Growth & Visibility Workshop is the engagement where we do the research and setup with you. Coaching is the relationship that continues.
Who this is for
- People planning a show who want to get the concept, the format and the launch right the first time, with someone to ask along the way.
- Hosts of a running show who have questions every week and no one experienced to put them to.
- Businesses and consultants who run a podcast as part of their marketing and want it to pull its weight.
- Co-hosts and small teams who want everyone working from the same plan.
- Hosts who would rather learn to do it well than hand it off.
What you get
Two sessions a month, one-on-one
Two Zoom sessions a month with Juergen, usually about an hour each, at times that fit your recording schedule. You bring the topic, and we work on it together until you know what to do next.
A recording and detailed notes after every session
Each session is recorded and sent to you afterward with detailed notes, structured by the topics we discussed. You can listen instead of writing during the call, and anyone on your team who missed it can catch up.
Questions answered between sessions
When something comes up in between, you email us and we answer. A guest cancels, a tool misbehaves, a sponsor asks something you have not met before: you are not waiting two weeks to get unstuck.
Your agenda, in a sensible order
In the first session we map out what your show needs over the coming months and put it in order. Each later session starts from that plan and from whatever has come up since, so the work adds up instead of jumping around.
Your co-host and team at the table
Co-hosts, producers, editors and assistants join any session at no extra charge. One conversation, and everyone leaves with the same plan.
An experienced coach
Juergen has produced audio, video and podcasts for decades, for clients and for our own shows. Before that he was a lead software designer and product manager in finance and led large teams, which is why the coaching covers the business side of a show, and how a team works together, as well as the craft.
Three months to start, then month to month
You commit to three months, long enough to launch a show or to see a growth plan through. After that you continue month to month and can stop with a month's notice.
What we work on
Most shows need something from each of these three areas over the months. You choose where we start, and the plan shifts as your show does.
Launch
For a show that does not exist yet, or one that needs a fresh start.
- Your concept and value proposition: who the show is for and why they would choose it.
- Format and episode structure, from length to intros, outros and cold opens.
- Choosing a name, with search research so people can find it.
- The host's craft: interviewing, speaking to one listener, sounding like yourself on a microphone.
- Finding guests worth having, then inviting and preparing them.
- Equipment and a recording setup that fit your room and your budget.
- Choosing a podcast host and setting up your feed and listings.
- A launch plan, week by week.
Production
For getting episodes out on time without the week disappearing into editing.
- A recording and editing workflow that fits the hours you have.
- Video and YouTube: when it is worth doing, and how to do it without doubling the work.
- Show notes and episode pages that people want to read and search engines can read.
- The newer production tools and automation, used where they save you time and kept out of the way where they do not.
- A two-host format, if you want one, and how to make the conversation work.
- For shows that want more of the production done by software, our podcast production engines are an option we can talk through.
Growth
For a show that is live and wants more of the right listeners.
- Being found in Google and in AI answers, through your episode pages and your listings.
- Guesting on other shows, and cross-promotion with shows like yours.
- A newsletter that turns listeners into readers you can reach directly.
- Social posts and clips, and how many of them you can realistically keep up, or have us run a campaign for every episode.
- Measuring what works: downloads, website visits, subscribers, and what each episode brings in.
- Monetization: sponsors, your own products and services, and what fits your audience.
Anything else you want to work on belongs on the list too. It is your show.

Questions we hear often
How is this different from the workshop and the strategy session?
The strategy session is one hour of advice with your next steps by email. The Growth & Visibility Workshop is a one-off engagement over a few weeks, where we do the research and setup with you. Coaching is the ongoing relationship: you do the work on your show month after month, with us beside you. If you are not sure which fits, the initial conversation is where we work that out.
How long do I commit to?
Three months to start. That is long enough to launch a show, or to see a growth plan through and measure it. After that you continue month to month and can stop with a month's notice.
Can my co-host or team join?
Yes, at no extra charge. Co-hosts, producers, editors and assistants are welcome in any session, and we encourage it when someone else does part of the week-to-week work.
What does it cost?
From $600 a month, agreed in the initial conversation; more sessions or a larger team can change it. You pay month by month, the first month before we start. Nothing is paid online: after the conversation we send you a private payment link.
What happens after I book the initial conversation?
The initial conversation is a free 30-minute call about your show, where it stands and what you want from the next year. We say honestly whether coaching, the workshop or a single strategy session is the right size for you. If we go ahead, we send you a private payment link and schedule your first session.
What if I need more than two sessions in a month?
Ask. Around a launch or a redesign, some months need more, and we add sessions at a rate we agree beforehand. Questions by email between sessions are always included.
Do I need to have a show already?
No. Many people start coaching before the first episode, and the launch track is built for that. If your show is already running, we start wherever it is.
Do I have to buy any tools?
No. We work with what you have and recommend options only when your show calls for them. Anything new you buy in your own name, so you keep ownership of every account.
