Growing a show that is already live
The launch brings attention. After that, growth usually slows, and the things that brought the first listeners, a push to friends and followers, a few weeks of novelty, stop working on their own.
Being found now means three things at once. Google search, which still sends people to your episode pages. AI answers, where ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews recommend shows and quote episodes. And the places listeners already look: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, your own website, and other people's shows.
In this workshop we look at where your show stands in all of them, build a plan with you over two sessions, and set up the pieces with you so the method holds for every new episode.
Who this is for
- Hosts whose show has been live for a while and whose downloads have leveled off.
- Businesses and consultants who run a podcast as their content strategy and want it to bring in readers, subscribers and clients, not only listens.
- Shows that want to be found in Google and in AI answers, not only inside podcast apps.
- Hosts who work with a co-host, producer or assistant and want one method the whole team follows.
What you get
Research before we meet
We study your show, your website and your listings before the first call, so our time together goes into decisions rather than discovery. We use our own Visibility Labs research tools to measure where your show appears in Google and in AI answers.
A show and website audit
A written review of what is working and what is holding you back: your episode pages, show description, titles, listings and the shows you compete with for the same listeners.
Up to two working sessions
One-on-one on Zoom. Usually a shorter first call to go through our findings and agree the direction, then a longer working session where we build the plan and set things up together. We record both sessions and send you the recordings, with detailed AI-generated notes organized by the topics we discussed.
Your plan in writing
After the sessions you receive your priorities in order, what to do for each one, and who does it. It is written for you and your team, not for us.
A repeatable episode routine
A checklist for every new episode, from topic research to transcript, episode page, listings and promotion, so the work does not depend on remembering what we said.
Setup done with you
Where your track calls for configuration, we do it with you in the session or between sessions: episode page structure, schema markup, newsletter, listings, or the tools you already use.
Training for you and your team
We explain why each step matters and show you how to do it yourself, so you are not dependent on us afterward.
A check-in a month later
About a month after the second session, a 30-minute call to see what got done, what worked and what to adjust.
Choose your focus
You pick one track when you book, and we adjust it together in the initial conversation if your show needs a different mix.
A: Search, AI answers and visibility
For shows that want to be found by people who are searching, whether they ask Google, ChatGPT or a podcast app.
- An audit of your website, episode pages and show listings against Google, AI answers and the main podcast apps.
- Quick wins first: the titles, descriptions and pages you can fix within a week.
- Topic research and written briefs for your next episodes.
- How to turn each episode into a page that search engines and AI tools can read and cite: AI transcript, episode article, a structured FAQ and schema markup.
- Your Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube listings: description, categories, titles and artwork text.
- Where to republish your episode articles so they reach readers beyond your own site.
B: Podcast marketing strategy
For shows that need a wider plan than search alone, matched to your time and budget.
- A review of your show, your concept and your audience, and which growth routes fit you.
- Guest appearances on other shows, and cross-promotion swaps with shows like yours.
- Podcast networks and communities, and when joining one makes sense.
- Paid promotion on podcast apps and social platforms, and when it is worth the money.
- Building an email newsletter from your listeners.
- Short clips, YouTube and social, and how much of it you can realistically sustain.
C: Your growth and content toolkit
For shows that want the system set up and the team trained to run it.
- How to research topics before a season and before each interview.
- A per-episode workflow: AI transcript, show notes, episode article, FAQ, social posts and a newsletter issue from one recording.
- Set-up and configuration of the pieces you already own: website, email newsletter, scheduling and publishing tools.
- Connecting them so one published episode feeds your site, your newsletter and your social accounts.
- Your own episode template and checklist, built during the session.
- Training for you and whoever helps you produce the show.

Questions we hear often
How is this different from the $250 strategy session?
The strategy session is one hour of advice with your next steps by email. This workshop is the engagement where we do the research, build the plan with you over two sessions, and set up the pieces together. If you are not sure which one fits, the initial conversation is where we work that out.
How many sessions are there, and how long are they?
Up to two one-on-one sessions on Zoom, about two hours together in total, usually a shorter first call and a longer working session. If your show needs more time, we are flexible and extend them within reason. About a month after the second session, we also hold a 30-minute check-in to see how the plan is going. The research, the written plan and the setup work happen around them.
What does it cost?
From $1,200. The price depends on how much research and setup your show needs; we agree it in the initial conversation, before anything is booked.
Can my co-host, producer or assistant join?
Yes. Your co-host, producer or assistant is welcome in both sessions at no extra charge, and we recommend it if someone else will be doing the week-to-week work.
Do I have to buy any tools?
No. We start with what you already use. If your track calls for something you do not have, we recommend options during the session and you decide, in your own name, so you keep ownership of every account.
What happens after I book the initial conversation?
The initial conversation is a free 30-minute call about your show, which track fits, and whether this workshop or the smaller strategy session is the right size for you. If we go ahead, we send you a private payment link, and then we schedule your first session.
What do you need from me?
Your show name, website, hosting platform, your listings and social profiles, and, where you have them, read-only access to your download statistics and Google Analytics.
