What is POLYMASH?

I have many diverse and broad reaching interests and have to be content with being a “Jack of Many Trades”, but a “Master of None”… I am an eternal student, so for me POLY = a prefix, often meaning more than one or many, MASH = hybrid combination from more than one source into a single integrated whole.

I’ve always been interested in unique perspectives.

In my IT and Business career, as well as in my photography and music endeavors, innovation comes from adapting fresh views. We live in a world of social media, where ideas are now so easily shared, where we can learn from each others unique perspectives, and where mass collaboration and knowledge building is becoming easier than ever before, and also more necessary in view of the broader challenges and opportunities our planet now faces on topics of climate change, environmental innovation, health and technology.

I hope that in this series of posts I will bring some diversity and broad perspective on a range of emerging trends and topics, highlighting the funny, relevant, ironic, entertaining,  and in the process reduce the signal to noise ratio of  social media emergence, tech trends, the arts and in general technology developments that impact our lives.
